Tornado Aerator | SABESP in Tupã/SP

The city of Tupã has around 70,000 inhabitants and its economy is based on the meat and milk industry, which is geared towards exports. The city currently stands out for collecting and treating 100% of the sewage it generates, thanks to its partnership with the largest sanitation company in Latin America, ABESP.

The treatment plant, which began operating at the end of 2002, had surface-type aerators, which until then had not shown satisfactory results. In December 2007, these were replaced by HIGRA’s TORNADO aerator. In addition to the products, HIGRA offered the SABESP client a complete installation and start-up service for the new equipment.
