The city of Tupã has around 70,000 inhabitants and its economy is based on the meat and milk industry, which is geared towards exports. The city currently stands out for collecting and treating 100% of the sewage it generates, thanks to its partnership with the largest sanitation company in Latin America, ABESP.
The treatment plant, which began operating at the end of 2002, had surface-type aerators, which until then had not shown satisfactory results. In December 2007, these were replaced by HIGRA’s TORNADO aerator. In addition to the products, HIGRA offered the SABESP client a complete installation and start-up service for the new equipment. With the addition of this service, in addition to HIGRA technology, the client gains the guarantee of an installation carried out in accordance with factory procedures and carried out by qualified and trained professionals, ensuring the best positioning of the aerators and the consequent optimization of the performance of the equipment and the results of the treatment plant.
