Tornado Aerator | Cariacica/ES

Leachate is one of the most difficult liquid wastes to treat. It is the result of the decomposition of substances contained in solid waste (household and industrial waste) and is dark in color, foul-smelling and has a high BOD (biological oxygen demand).

Higra aerators were used to treat this material at a solid and liquid waste collection, management and treatment plant located in Cariacica, Espírito Santo. The model installed at the site is the 25CV Tornado aerator.

The efficiency of the Higra aerators has generated positive results for the treatment system, and the performance and durability of the HIGRA equipment is evident, even when applied in the harshest conditions.
